Thumbs down High speed cut out with 3 cylinder misfires?!? Please HELP.

To start out, I have a code thrown as cylinder 1, 3, and 4 misfire. I also have a problem where it misfires very badly at high boost or high speed. My friend suggested a fuel cutout defender, but I still don't know for sure.

I searched for the multiple cylinder misfire and came up with these fixes... fuel filter, coil packs lose, spark plug gaps or fowled, fuel injectors dirty, valves need adjustment???, or a ****ty tune... I haven't started to check into any of those yet though.

The other thing is when I idle my car for quite some time it begins to puff a **** load of white smoke out of the exhaust. This leads me to believe that I am in need of some serious help here.

wow i was gonna say check for a vaccume leak

but the white smoke makes me think check the compression

But the only thing with that, is the car runs like a bat out of hell when i take off. I usually don't see the cutout problem until 4th or 5th gear at about 100 MPH. And also, the thing idles just great until it sits there for about 5 mins. But it does have a 2.5 sti motor in it from axis racing - stage 3 with about 4,000 miles on it with a v34 turbo and 550 cc injectors.

But also, it has 3 breathers on the car. A couple of the vacuum lines from the intake have been eliminated by putting breathers on the cylinder heads, and the other breather I can't remember where it's mounted.

just say no to Fuel Cut Defenders....Fuel cut is a safety, it means your car is not tuned to that boost Pressure...

List all your engine performance mods.

The idle issue can more than likely be fixed with tuning, what EM are you using?
