To make the down pipe fit to the borla what i did was picked up a 3" sleeve connector at a local parts store. Thats a 3" to 3" sleeve. Then i welded the larger end onto the mouth of the DP.

This allowed me to slide the borla hush onto the DP and just clamp it on from there .

The Stromung 3" DP with divorced wastegate will not replace the 3rd cat. However the Helix DP replaces the 3rd cat, and has a different attachment, therefore not allowing it to mate up with the Borla Hush. This has been my understanding after talking to some vendors and other people on this site.
The Borla system is designed to mate to the stock doughnut gasket, anything that deviates from that will have fitment concerns. Most aftermarket downpipes replace both cats and have a flush 3" flange (a la Helix) thus requiring modification to the last piece on the Borla.

Since your have a helix dp you will be welding if you get a borla. You can have a buddy weld piece so it slips on or you can try to find a flange or somethin that would bolt onto the helix and clamp it onto the borla.

If you search this forum you can find links and exhuast clips of most models on either an sti or wrx.

You'd get a good idea which one you want to get then.
