Helix DP onto a Borla hush cat back -- fitment?

Car Info: Mazda Protege '02 (Wishing protege has AWD and a H6 twin turbo)
To make the down pipe fit to the borla what i did was picked up a 3" sleeve connector at a local parts store. Thats a 3" to 3" sleeve. Then i welded the larger end onto the mouth of the DP.
This allowed me to slide the borla hush onto the DP and just clamp it on from there .

from what ive learned crawling throughout these forums and doing searches, and please correct me if im wrong... if you get a DP that doesn't replace the 3rd cat, then the Borla Hush should work fine. The Stromung 3" DP with divorced wastegate will not replace the 3rd cat. However the Helix DP replaces the 3rd cat, and has a different attachment, therefore not allowing it to mate up with the Borla Hush. This has been my understanding after talking to some vendors and other people on this site.

Since your have a helix dp you will be welding if you get a borla. You can have a buddy weld piece so it slips on or you can try to find a flange or somethin that would bolt onto the helix and clamp it onto the borla.
