Helix Downpipe question
Im about to get a catless downpipe but i cant decide between the PDE and the Helix. I want the Helix because it's cheaper, but the PDE doesn't require a CEL fix. Im going to be removing the downpipe whenever I take the car in for warranty work and for emissions tests. I wanted to know if there was a way to remove the CEL fix with the downpipe and make it so nobody could tell that anything was done. Im just a little worried about soldering and resoldering the O2 sensor wires over and over. Is there a CEL fix that doesn't require cutting any wires. If i can find a way to get a CEL fix that can be easily removed and reinstalled without causing any problems i will get that with the Helix, otherwise i guess i'll have to pay the extra 100 bucks and get the PDE. Any help would be appreciated. I just want to be able to easily remove and reinstall the CEL fix, and i don't want anyone to be able to tell that i have done anything, by the way it's on a 2002 WRX.
Thanks
Greg

I've got the helix. It removes both cats. I'm not sure about the PDE. I imagine that if you go back to stock for tests that you won't have to worry about the check engine fix. Just leave it in. No one would know the difference. Hope this helps.

it's actually decently loud on my car(w/ evo), but i think N1's louder.
btw, get the helix, it's awesome.
