Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Rocky forget the header and get a turbo first (18g) or just get both the header and the turbo with the inj. and pump. all at once. (Oh yeah, if you get the turbo make sure it is boosting more than 14.7 psi.)

Headers...

I have the GT-Spec V2 Header System W/Up-pipe & I wasn't disappointed at all with the performance. There's a NOTICEABLE increase in power in the mid to top end range.

Alot of people here don't recommend aftermarket headers since they really don't produce that much power for the price you pay. The reason why I got the whole set up is that I got the system for such a good price.

Whoever's interested on purchasing a header system make sure that you guys get the "UN-equal version" and not "Straight-through Equal version". Simply that if you get the Equal length headers then it'll sound like your average Inline 4 cars.

I would recommend the GT-Spec Version 2 or 3 W/Up-pipe, Gruppe-s W/Flex Joint Up-pipe. These 2 represents the best bang for your buck.

For the JDM side, I would recommend HKS, Invidia, and Maxxim. Pricey but worth it if you wanna be the kid who wants to be different.

One more thing, make sure you guys buy a new set of gaskets from headers to up-pipe, up-pipe to downpipe.
