greddy evo or borla hush?
i was just contemplating whether to get a greddy evo catback or a borla hush. i was mainly considering 3" catbacks with lowest minimum noise possible but with power gains. i was wondering how much power i will gain from the borla hush? =/

I love my greddy, seems to be on the best for horsepower gains, I love its deep throaty tone at low RPM's but once you hit spool it starts screaming like a rally car. . . I love it. my .02

I like the Greddy, but would probably choose the Borla Hush for stealth. You live in Fremont, right?
IMO, it's more likely a cop will pull you over for the Greddy exhaust tip. To me, the Borla Hush looks more stock with the twin tips. Remember that sound is subjective (even though the Greddy is quiet). You can pull out the Greddy certification for sound once you are pulled over, but by that time they would already be looking for reasons to give you a ticket.
I think I'm too parnoid sometimes, but profiling is an everyday occurance.

If I recall the Borla pickup 10whp on that dyno test, in all honesty 99% of catbacks give results within 1-3whp so just pick the one that suits your tests as far as looks and sound the most.
If you would like to see both in person come to our shop on any Saturday and you will get the oppurtunity to see them on cars.
The Evo system is now being replaced with the Evo 2 system which is not yet available but will be 100% stainless when it is released (also more expensive)

I have the borla and am the one who got it dynoed. Peak hp gain was indeed 10. I like the sound, it has a nice growl but doesn't drone on at highway speeds. A big plus for me is that it looks stock, if you are going sleeper I would get this exhaust. Although if you want to get an aftermaket DP you may have to get some custom welding done.

I have been dieing to see the Greddy in person for so long. Vishnu dual tip also for that matter. I don't mean to thread jack but if anyone has either one of these exhausts and lives near Nashua, NH PM me.
