Helix makes very nice up and down pipes, and Gruppe-S has a nice deal for the combo. At that point, there are quite a few nice catback exhaust out there. I am personally going to buy the Turbo XS turboback in about 2 weeks and get the Helix flex joint uppipe not long after.

i'd say, save money on rims and just wrap the stock rims in better tires. california? don't see much snow heh? get a set of S-03s ~$600 , then save up for a set of STi v7 or 8 take off suspension. ~$800 used to ~$1100 new.
also, i wouldn't get a flex uppipe. the uppipe gets VERY hot, which could in turn heat the block and near be components unneccessarly. I would ALWAYS coat an uppipe with jet-hot and you shouldn't coat flex sections.

Ok call me a snob or whatever you want but I like quality. I don't know Helix well, I know Invidia and like them. I've got the Invidia Turbo-back mated to a Syms Header w/ integrated up-pipe. I don't have any sound clips but it's very high quality sounding. not "tin-ny" like I've noticed with other systems (such as HKS, Greddy, etc) but it's not for those who want their car to be quiet, because there is no real muffler upstream of the resonator. FWIW, I'm a JDM guy so I can't help it.
Cheers,
Joel
p.s. altezza lights are for altezzas
