do you have to swap the uppipe too, or can you get it smogged in cali with a catless uppipe??

the 1st cat in uppie is not needed since it's mainly used for cold starts.

When smog check time comes, all you have to do is have the car running hot and you'll pass with no problems with the last 2 cats. Only problem may be the visual inspection, which you might not pass if the inspector makes a very thorough inspection.

ah, ok that's what I thought. I think the testers are pretty easy around here, they passed my old civic and the exhaust had a hole in it.

I live in md passed with no cats. no AWD dyno and a easy 50 for the man (guy I met at a show in D.C.). O I can get 94 oct. to NA NANANA
