Post Feedbacks on Borla Catbacks

Just wondering what owners think about their borla CBE?

-The CBE starts off from a 2.5" that taper into a 3"... some of borla's CBE comes w/ a adapter, now the 3" flange adapter, how does it connects or replaced the 2.5" flange...

Are you using a aftermarket DP?

I too love mine. I went from a blitz to a borla and i love it. The sound is great not too loud, but still has the rumble. If you havnt heard them yet if you do a search you can find sound clips. The only thing im going to change on mine is to get 3" piping all the way with a resonator.

Im running a full 3" catless set up with a Borla Hush (thanks MPJ). Pretty quiet, like others have said. This is the only exhaust I've had on the car besides stock, I doubt I'll swap it out either.

Thumbs up

For what it's worth... I have run Borla's on almost every car I have owned since they got into the biz. Assorted imports and the last one was on my Range Rover (sounded like a 'mature' NASCAR racer in the canyons of Santa Barbara). Never had any issues with any of them (at least 6). Always fit, always sounded great and never yelled 'LOOK AT ME!!!'

The last one on the range Rover had 90K miles and sounded as great as ever and no rust or weld issues. Rate them a 10+.

I am working on my suspension right now... bars, struts, braces, springs, end links etc. But, next will be the induction... cold air intake, Borla headers, Borla cat-back. Can't wait!

I love the borla twin tip. It sounds awesome and looks pretty stock. I got mine used and the 3' adapter was already welded on. I didnt have any problems with the Helix DP-Borla Hush connection

is the 3" adapter suppose to be weldded on or does it just slide in and just clamp it?

I think it normally slides and clamps, but with the previous owner, they had it welded on (at the clamp). it still has another clamp to rotate the pipe and lengthen it
