Question Exhaust smell from the vents

there is this gnarly exhaust smell coming from my vents, when i turn on the recirculating button on it goes away, obviously thats doing its job.

just after i went stage 2 (up dp cbe tmic cobb apv2) i noticed this smell, its especially strong at cold-starts, and at stop signs/lights or any time im just idling and the recirculating isnt on. anyone else have this problem? it smells pretty bad and it cant be good to breathe, CO

thanks in advance

who did your exhaust? I am not much when it comes to these things, but maybe an old gasket was used, and there is an exhaust leak? Probably want to check that out, definitely not good to breath...

i only got this when i was up in tahoe. i think it was cause my car could have been running richer due to thinner, colder air...

maybe im wrong..

but Mike did you check all the gaskets/o2 sensors/headers for leaks?

all the gaskets are definately there, i reused all the oem ones so maybe that is the reason. ive changed my dp about 4 times, and im running a single-cat helix bellmouth right now. i just picked up a vf43 so ill go through and replace all those on install.

have to wait to get this cast off my hand... 30 ft kicker + leaning forward = fracture
