exhaust flames
hey guys just thought it would be cool to have flames shooting out of your exhaust.... just wondering if this is possible and how would i go about making it happen? I have an 03 wrx with catless downpipe, carbon ti exhaust, and hks ssq bov... oh and if its a bad idea then let me know

Well a fully catless, resonator-less exhaust, with a straight through muffler>
Then you put a 100% atmospheric BOV, which is not the best idea but. . . if you must
Get it tuned to that setup, to where it runs richer after the BOV goes off, and pop pop pop fwoomp !

Car Info: ATR Catback, HKS Downpipe, Injen CAI, 17x7.5 Rota Subzeros/Falken Azenis, Tein HA's, Apexi-SAFC,
catless up and downpipe plus exhaust with stock BOV I shoot flames during downshifts some upshifts and popping off the gas in some circumstances. Its only going to ingite the unused gas (backfire) if your exhaust is hot enough though. Happy firebreathing

my thing is if you are trying to be street legal why would you want that? here in VA the police are so **** that you cant get away with much. i personally think its a bad idea. but to each is own.

whatever, if your going to build a fast "street car" whether its "legal" or not, you have to be prepared to deal with the BS and the ball breaking tickets. And chances are if you are driving that Porshe, you dont care about a ticket for 100-200 dollars anyway. but like blo this said "to each is own" rock on and shoot flames if you gotta
