EGT probe

Ok heres an odd question but, I've noticed on some up-pipes that there is no EGT bung. Does this mean that you dont need to have the stock sensor plugged in? And if so could you use it for an aftermarket EGT sensor for a gauge? Just curious.

If you don't use the egt probe you have to resister it

If you take out your stock EGT, you will throw a CEL if you don't find a fix (resistor mod or engine management).
