Difference between Borla's XR1 and Hush
I know the hush is much more quiet.. and I know the best is to hear both first hand.. but I don't have access to that at the moment.. so who has heard of the difference between the two?
The XR-1 is straight-thru so it's definitely going to be louder. It does drone a bit on the highway (even with a resonator), but was wondering how the Hush sounds like in a sedan? Given the WRX has stock up/down pipes.
Inside the cabin w/ the Hush, can you still hear it rumble? How about driving around 2,500-3,000rpm on the highway?

No in-cabin recordings but this should help a little.

I just installed the 3" XR-1 on my '02 WRX. Its definately got some volume, but its all low growly and roaring type loudness. Sounds almost like the General Lee...it might be a LITTLE too loud, but I like to too much to trade it for the Hush. Cops don't seem to mind. The sound clips miss most of the really low frequency rumbling...it sounds MUCH better in person.
