crush washer and gasket

I really think the crush washer thing is a myth. I have yet to change mine after about 6 oil changes. In fact I dont recall even seeing one on the car...
Since you live in Milillani why not go to Waipahu Subaru?

It's not a myth. Crush washers were developed for a reason. They allow you to tighten the nut without having to overtorque it to prevent leaks. It provides a buffer (for lack of a better term) between the oil pan and the nut. If I'm not mistaken, the stock Subaru oil filters come with a new washer. Regardless, it should be replaced at every oil change.
Sorry.....can't help you with the appropriate size.

Also, there IS a crushwasher on the stock plug, it's just that it's PAINTED in place. Use a screwdriver to pry it loose from the paint and you can put a new one on.
While a crush washer isn't necessary, it's insurance on what are very important threads. It just keeps some extra pressure off them so that they are sure to last as long as you need them to.
Just go to your local subaru dealer and pick up a bunch of them. They're like 50 cents each or something like that.
Measuring one of the one's I have, they are about 0.798" ID and about 1.023" OD

All for the good of the Scooby community, that's what I tell my wife anyway. Actually, if you look at a lot of my pics, you'll notice I use that little square of rug frequently. Makes for a background that is white for good contrast but not shiny.
