i have a sedan. I have one child seat in the back middle. It was really tight when we had it facing rearward (...between front seats. i dont think it'll fit comfortably directly behind front seats)
if you need to put in 2 in the back i would definitely check the fit before buying the seats (or the car...)

it's too bad Legacy B4 isnt available in US. that'll solve the needs for everyone in the fam

I've had a few car seats and so far the best one I've come across is a Britax Roundabout.

My 1 year old son's car seat fits fine in my WRX wagon. You should probably go see how it fits yourself though. Bring your car seat along for a test drive.

But not for infants I think. He's gonna need one that will do a rear face then be able to turn around eventually. I've surfed around quite a bit and found this place to have the best prices:

http://babycatalog.com/cgi-bin/WebSt...tore=bca.setup

Not only do they make good seats but the seat itself is smooth on the bottom so it dosen't destroy the car's seat.

I have the wagon and a baby seat fits OK in the back. My 2.5 year old is fine in the back, however I do note that his feet is touching the back of the passenger seat now. If I put the passenger seat all the way back and recline it abit, he won't have enough space. Anyways, for long hauls that's what the wife's minivan for. heheh
