Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Cel P0457

So my CEL comes up on my '02 WRX and I bring it to the dealership. They pull a P0457, so they keep my car a few days while they send my ECM away to get it reprogrammed. I get my car back and my CEL is gone. Yay right? No... I filled my gas tank up right after I left the dealership and when I drove exactly 84.9 miles on the new tank, my CEL comes up again while I'm on the freeway going a steady 75mph. And YES, I did tighten my gas cap. It sounds ridiculous at the gas station because of how many times I make that gas cap click.

I've heard of hoses having loose connections. Where can I look for these exactly? Particularly something about a "blue" connector???

I got my car back on Friday, so I'm gonna have to wait till Monday to drive back down there first thing in the morning without any appointment.

Help me please?!?!

First of all, why the hell did the dealership send your ECU away to get reprogrammed? It's just the gas cap. Take it back to em and tell em to give you a new gas cap. It's probably just faulty.
