CA Smog Test

So I have a SPT short ram intake, and a greddy TI-C catback exhaust on my 05 WRX, and i was wondering if I have to do anything to pass the San Diego, Ca smog test. I hear a lot of this and that hubba bubba, but out of everything ive read so far, it seems as though i should pass right?

spt intakes are smog legal as long as you have the carb sticker. and the catback is legal as long as you have a stock downpipe and up pipe

lol, you either have the sticker or you don't.

it should be on your intake piping, near the logo

SPT won't give a sticker for that intake anymore even though it's got a carb number, it still comes up valid on the carb site. But if there is no sticker on it, it won't pass the visual. that's the main reason I got rid of mine for a K&N typhoon.

Depends where you go some will let it slide most will not.

The biggest reason for a fail is a CEL.

I have an spt intake, cat back and a bosal up pipe. I have had no issues passing Ca. smog. It depends on where you go. I have a carb sticker on my intake and you can't really see the up pipe in a visual inspection so long as the car is warmed up you should be fine.

So you need an stock up pipe? that is only if the stock one was catted right? I have been told many times that it dose not need to be stock to pass.

The normal smog people can't usually see the up pipe, I passed years ago when I had my 18g on the car.
