BOV spitting OIL?!

Hey guys,

my HKS BOV is spitting out oil..... and alot of it... any idea why it could be doing that?

I had a bud look at it, and he mentioned getting a catch can.....

but if it didnt do it before...why now?

Thanks for the feedback.

hopefully you are not blowing oil from the turbo into your intake. Is it a large amount of oil?

a turbo car will put *some* oil into the intake system, thats what a catch can is used for. If we are talking about quarts of oil, then your turbo might be having issues.

That is not oil, it's the essence of power.
And your car is not happy.

How many miles on the car?
What mods?

Well it has about 60k miles on it.

I bought it this way,

bigger injectors, bigger bottum end of the motor, a garret turbo, front mount intercooler, straight pipe, turbo xs ecu, uhhh those are the major one.

all HKS for the most part.

Also, its not spitting quarts but it is sure spitting alot....

i need a catch can, although...i dont have one. lol I have an appointment with you paul on the 25th..

How big of a turbo?
How much boost?
What type of engine management?

This does not sound good.

If you say driver's side, you are seriously hosed. In case you haven't noticed, the turbo's on the OTHER side of the engine bay, which means an easy fix like a cracked turbo or a split oil line is now out of the question. Oil on the driver side is a blown head and/or cam gasket, in my experience.

Seriously, Check your breather lines. Pull them loose while the engine is running. Is there oil spitting out of them> Remove the oil fill cap, fell the blow by, is it puff puff puffing?
