i was just driving home from work and it started clunking.

i think im gunna do an ej22 swap, but not sure yet. the closed deck would be great.

i already have an ej22 short block laying around, just gotta get it sent to a machine shop to get it checked out and cleaned...

It's about time that engine went!! Sounds like the rods if I had to make a guess, does it still hold onto boost? Well that car had over 100k of hellish miles put on her!!

thats what im thinking...

Sti crank, sti rods and forged pistons

im looking for around an 8.25:1 compression ratio.

somewhere between 8 and 8.5:1 would be nice.

paul, i will try to get them to you as soon as possible.

my car barely drives lol. No power hahaha. turbo spools great though, had to hear it for about 10 miles cause without it there is no power. brake boosting helped tho.

plan is a secret with me hehehehehe.

Sorry to hear your engine let go but
look on the bright side at least you got your 100K+
miles out of your engine.
I think you spun a rod bearing but how knows until
you take it apart.
The EJ22 swap is the route to go if you ask me.
Are you thinking of swapping the turbo?
