i agree on both parts. the stock stereo does suck (mine is no longer stock), but i really quit paying attention to my stereo after i installed a turbo back.

My last vehicle was a small Mazda pickup with a Cheap-O stereo with small cheap speakers and the Subaru sound system is Luxury compared to that........Sometimes I get the feeling that alot of the members on here have more money than I do and dont think twice about dropping big money for stereo stuff. IM old maybe my ears are shot anyways
