Question The best exhaust for a 2003 WRX

I'm getting a 2003 wrx pretty soon, and i plan on adding after-market parts right away. The first thing i want to do is add a new exhaust system and a blow-off valve kit. With the exhaust I really want something that sounds deep and throaty, I hate the rice rocket sound. I want something that really displays the true power of the wrx. My friend recommended the blitz nur spec. Any tips on good sounding powerful exhaust systems? With the blow-off valve I also want someting that sounds good. The wrx comes stock with a turbo so thats not my main priority, I really want a loud powerful blowoff valve that compliments the exhaust, I was looking at the HKS Sequential Valve kit, once again any suggestions? Thanks for your tips!

get the turbo xs rfl bov and how about a bozz exhaust, think it needs jdm dp too though.
i heard that is like the loudest you can get.

go for the nurspec r if you want to unleash the loudness but not need jdm parts

Personally I think I'm going to go with Perrins Turbo back. Just because every WRX I see has that damn N1 looking muffler. Not that its not good. But I like to be a little different

I would really like to keep at least one cat, but I dont see that happening.

yeah the N-1 is preaty common on wrx's but i personally love it.. i got invidia on myne and i love it all the way... and i like it becuz unlike apexi's huge tip the invida only has a 4 inch tip which looks awsome slanted to the side like it is... i like nur spec the most becuz its the loudest and deepest of whut i heard... i heard it on schafers and its deep as hell... but the invidia is preaty damn deep.. it sounds like a helicopter when im crusin...

Diddo norcalridin. I'd get the Invidia turbo back. Exhaust systems are all preference, though. Don't let someone talk you into an exhaust system they like. I'd suggest going to a local car meet where you know there will be some WRX's and listen to everyone's yourself and then go from there. There's also a thread on here that will direct you to clubwrx where a guy posted up a whole bunch of exhaust clips you can listen to. In fact, here it is...

Anyways, good luck with your shopping!

Try the Espelir JGT500. I've always liked that one.

when it comes down to CB's its pretty much personal preference....in consideration of what type of exhaust style you like?? like an OEM looking exhaust, N1 style....etc...me personally i went wit HKS hiper....and its fawking bad ***....gives a great exhaust note...and looks sexy as hell....but unfortunately...juss the other day it got me a fix ticket.....

If you don't want to risk fix-it tickets, get the TurboXS Stealthback and keep your stock muffler.
