I have to second krillz statement. The Cobb ECU gives 25.5 whp and 28.9 more torque at the wheels for only $395. It's definitely high on my list.

Yup the best bang for the buck on the market now. An uppipe will only give you about 1/4th the gains up the ECU and it's still only half the price.

AccessECU is not ready for 04's yet.

It is a very safe way to add power as it changes many parameters (timing, boost, fuel, etc.) instead of just adding more boost (like an mbc). Only damage will be done by the addicting blasts to 7K rpm! Like all mods, it'll only add to the wear and tear over the long term.

Maverick7,
You should get the reflash, then go with a downpipe over the uppipe, since you NEED the dp for cobb's stage 2 (plus a muffler, at least), and the stage 2 is truly the biggest bang for your buck!
My only engine mods are a turboback and stage 2 reflash, all for less than $1400, and it is Fast.

Cobb hands down. Why because Prodrive is a stuck up greedy company that could give a rats a-s-s about their customers and support.

I heard a funny story about Simon from prodrive stopping by a fellow i-clubbers home to have some welding done. When it was finished simon asked "how much do I owe you?" the i-clubber responded with "pay me what you think my work is worth." Simon handed him $3. A normal shop would charge some $30+ for what was done. Hell it's not the amount that would make me mad just the principle.
If I were the person doing the work, I would have spit in Simon's face and taken that fancy downpipe and shoved it up his... well nevermind.
