Axis Power 2.6L
Does anyone here know how this engine is suposed to perform, im looking at different engines to drop in my 02' WRX and i have heard this one is pretty good. http://axispowerracing.net/stage6motor.html

yea i was also considering a Ej22 and putting WRX heads on it since they have the same head pattern, but from wat i hear you cant boost very high with that setup and u gotta be tuned right on. and how much HP can the Ej22 hold up to, didnt they only come with 160 HP and 181 Torque ?

It's not open. It is semi-closed. After resleaving, it doesn't really matter if it started life as a fully closed deck block. Oil squirters that come on EJ22's however, make me very happy.
That is why my Axis motor was built from a EJ22T.

If you are looking for more motors try looking at Cobb tuner series or there original series short blocks. No one else is North America has as much experience about building wrx race motors then cobb pretty much. www.cobbtunning.com
