Autometer Boost Gauge Prob
Just installed the Autometer boost gauge.
Everything was fine.
engine at off is at 0psi
idle -14psi
at wide open its about 8-9 psi
wheres my other 5?
my car feels fine before and after the gauge install
mods,
Turbo XS TH BOV
K&N Typhoon(i know i know, but hey, it was free for a mock from K&N)
axle back
I ver read and searched for some items.......but no clear answer
would the nylon tube connection have a problem? kinks in the tube? Im gonna switch to all rubber tubes tonight....any other things you can think of?

no its lower at 1st and 2nd, i checked it while i was at lunch,
its has a big kink and the gauge its self. like a complete 90deg pinch at the gauge, ill try that first.

Well, it looks like you've found your problem. The kinking hose is 90% of my motivation to switch to an electrical boost gauge.
Back in my mechanical days I ended up wrapping the tube with tape from the back of the gauge down a few inches. This was my homemade stress reliever to stop the nylon from bending over a corner of the brass fitting.
