anyone running power enterprise 800 cc injectors
i have them and i just wanted to see how they were in someones car. i won't finish my car for about 2 months so i cant really test them out. can you make them idle good. i hope so i am really looking for an almost factory drive untill i floor it.

StealthWRX, I have the 850cc for the GC8... a tad rich on idle 
but otherwise good.
Running with a VF34 at 1.8bar, max injector duty cycle is around 80%
Note on the picture that the injector harness connectors have different 'guides' molded in them. The new ones were supplied with the injector I got and I removed the original ones (the one on the right I think) with a needle pin.

Running P.E. 740cc injectors and had the same minor irritation in that the O/E connections had to be swapped over.
On a 10 row Link and several people have commented on how smooth tick-over is.
The car has done a verified 417bhp/318 at wheels but I rarely get over 70% IDC's although at W.O.T. I do not have time for my head in the cockpit. In the wet 12.48=1/4 and 1kilometer=158.3mph.
What power are you aiming for with even bigger injectors? ?????Think mine are good for around 500bhp but I will work it out and co-relate to previous actuals.

i am looking for 500 hp to the wheels with gobs of torque. some say its not easy but i want to do it. so far i have many of the right components. i am still lacking head work, and engine management. once those are done and i find a pro tuner. it should be all there. i need to spend about 10k more before my car will be good to go. $5k on head and engine management and $ 5 k on the tranny and its components

over kill, i wish. that is about the lowest i would ever go for this amount of power. i was origionally considering 1000's or 565 primaries and another set of 565 secondaries.

What conditions did you create the 1.8 bar under?
How was idling around town in rush hour traffic :evil_grin_that_are_envious_of: ?
edit: EGT's? A/F ratios on a wideband sensor? ... etc. .... etc..? Rich is better, but clogged or melted cats really is not nice.

You might want to go with secondary injectors then that way you can keep a smooth idle to the car and not run as rich when your off of boost. How much power are you getting in order to run need that much fuel? Usually those are the size of injectors you'd see on a built up GTR or Supra.
Then again variable propane injection sounds pretty cool as well. Sorry just random thoughts.

Overkill with injectors is not a good idea.

I have heard if you put too large of an injector in a motor you can damage it.
The explination I got was it fills the cylinder with too much fuel, the excess fuel (unburned) washes the oil off the sides of the cylinders... = bad things.
Or somethin along those lines....
This was a conversation that was had with a tech from Lingenfelter Performance... so I'd say its a good source. my version of the story is quite watered down... if anyone can elaborate that would be cool.
My friends TT LPE vette runs 140mph in the 1/4 and idles like a bone stock car. Has relatively small injectors for the 725rwhp it made.
also my T-T/A came with 29.5lb/hr injectors stock... I upgraded them to 36lb/hr injectors and the car was running 116mph in the ¼. 3600lbs - 116mph... you do the math. Big hp, small injectors. I know people with the same car as me with 72lb/hr injectors that are slower than mine... and run worse. Overkill is BAD!!!
Get more reasonable injectors and bump the fuel pressure... dont get firehoses and expect to be able to "Tune them down"... ....

at no point are these overkill. if i went with the 1000's or dual 565's that would be overkill unless i was trying for 650 hp. anything less than 750-800 cc injectors then i would be at a duty cycle that would be over 85 and i wasn't looking for that. once again, you can make everything fine with tuning.

VTurbo TA..remember though, you ahve 6 injectors on your TA (or 8 if its a V8..same with your buddies Vette).
800 cc is perfect for a 4 cylinder wanting around 500 HP, and theese are still calm enough that with good tuning of a standalone, good idle can be maintained, and driveability will be fine.
But, yes, as you step up injector size, particularly on high impedance units (like the PE), it becomes harder and harder to control them. Lower impednace injectors alow for much moe off time, and as such, are much easier and forgiving to slow down, hence you can run them leaner (as well a coax a bit more output out of them if needed). The downside is that unless you convert your rails to accept a new type of injector, there are no low impedance units offered. These are a great plug and play mod for those looking for Stealth's desired HP range.
