Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Any 18g 2.0L wrx's in the east bay area?

A tad large for a USDM 2.0litre engine no? (not your old JDM 2.0litre...when you took me for a spin I remember it revved real high...man that thing was fast)

Dan, What engine are you getting to replace your blown one?

i had an TD05 18G from jeremy/crucial racing with 560 injectors on my 2.0 swap. it was very smooth with a lot of high end. i would recommend going with some bigger injectors, 600's or 700's.

UPS is currently bringing me, what is now a TD06 20G, from Deadbolt so i can slap that on my new 2.5 sti block. hopefully i can get it all together by subydudes' nov 5th show at the san leandro marina.

18Gs are $875 brand spankin new from FP, for my taste I would prefer this on a 2.0 over a 20G

Yes, the FP 18g is what I will most likely get. I emailed them about the 8CM housing and they said they were coming in soon.

Think it would be worth it to get the 8CM housing?

Oooo, I thought about it but I think its a bit much turbo for the USDM 2.0L. I dont mind lag but I think the 20g will be too much lag (for me).

I want boost to kick in hard at 4K rpms...I think the 18g is what I want.

What kind of setup and what kind of boost/torque did you get? Did you run on 91octane or better? Thanks!

yeah thats very true unless you like a 2,000rpm power band a small 50 shot will fix that problem though

So instead of a TD06 - 20G, make it a TD05.
