![Question](https://www.i-club.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Sup all i was driving looking at christmas lights w/ the family and i get a cel, so i get a OBD-II scanner to figure out which code i threw. Its P0172, i look it up it says that System too Rich (Bank 1). The only thing that i could think that cause this is my Blitz BOV. I was wondering if anyone else has thown this code b4. I have never seen this code b4 in my entire 5 months owning my BOV. Thank you, Mario

Nope, that wasn't it. I think my enjoyment of my BOV is coming to an end if this happens again.

Scott,
I didn't give the cel a chance to be on for more than 3hrs. As soon as i saw it i had to know. Then i cleared it
San,
The Blitz is venting to 100% atmospher. I can go to 100% recirculate but that just requires slight grinding i don't want to do.

I'm using the APS
BOV for my FMIC and the primary vent is plumbed back to intake. Never have had a cel or lick or trouble with it. It has a secondary vent to atmosphere if the primary isn't large enough. APS uses it on their 600hp race WRX. why did you change the BOV?

I don't think the cel will be back for a while. I'm postive its the BOV i did a full on check of everything Hoses connections etc. But the defintion of the code makes absolute sense, it happened as soon as i shifted into 4th. My car runs really rich inbetween shifts, and i got a nice little burp from my car.

Im not sure if you said the CEL came back on after you cleared it, it might have just been a 1 time deal and the car saw something it didnt like.
