Anti-lag system for WRX

Does any of you have managed to set-up an ALS system to your WRX, similar to the one of older generation modified Evos?

It's pretty cool, as it produces a flame visible at the muffler while switching gears. I know how it's done with Evos, but has anybody had any experience with it on a WRX?

It has been discussed before, but an anti-lag system would cause your turbo to expire rather quickly since it keeps it spooled all the time. Not really worth it on a street car. . .rather hard on the engine as well. IIRC, the premise behind an anti-lag system is to allow fuel/air to get into the exhaust manifold where it is ignited, which spools the turbo. Definitely not practical for a daily driver.

yeah, what cnk said is pretty much what it does. this is why rally cars with an als have that loooud snap crackle pop when shifting, or off the gas. very good for the WRC, not for main street.
