Yes, I did mean to type T67... you guys certainly get bent out of shape fast over a typo...
...and yes, BAN, we all know that an intake is a dicey proposition. I was just suggesting that if someone HAD to have an intake, the APS one seems like the least risky proposition, and one of the nicest-made. Certainly better than a FRAM Air-Hog or any such junk! As I said, I know of a local 02 WRX with that intake installed, as well as APS turboback w/ hi-flo cat, APS up-pipe, STI "pink" injectors and fuel pump and an ECUTEK reflash; the car is smooth as can be (a little on the loud side for my taste) and gets 23 MPG... The intake might be useless bling, but it isn't (at least in this case) fatal.

No, it's possible to make the car run like stock with an aftermarket intake, if you get a reflash or use a standalone. What the intake doesn't do is help you gain horsepower, and too many people still buy them thinking they do.
