3/16 restrictor removal

Is this modification good in terms of performance? How long does it take my ecu to adjust to the higher boost? How easy is the removal?

You just going to run the hose open? Bad idea.

If you mean you are going to replace it with something bigger. Just save you pennies and buy an EBC. Blitz Spec-R. These tricks are fun for a bit, but they get old with all the jiggling between hot afternoons and cold mornings and damp weather and CELs etc.

the 3/16 mod isnt the safest thing to do for the turbo. it causes the boost to spike too much. you can try it out for a day just to see what all the fuss is about, but youll start to feel the spiking soon after.
gluck.

You can buy a new one from Subaru for about $6.

I lost mine too (temporarily), then found it after I bought a new one (of course).
