2005 WRX Boost Level Low?
Hi all, I just bought a 2005 WRX, it came with the factory option Lamco boost gauge installed in it and also has a small on/off switch near the cup holders (i'm thinking a boost controller from previous owner). I don't believe the BC (if thats what it is) is hooked up at all. Anyways, when I'm in 3rd at WOT the gauge only goes up to around .07 MPa (around 10-11 psi). It won't go any further than that. I checked that it had the restrictor pill and it did, I even put a new one in. Everything looks to be tight and secure as far as vacuum lines and hose clamps. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have the stock boost should peak around 13.5 psi (about 0.1 MPa).
Thanks
Kyle

The car has 40,000 miles on it. As far as I know the only mods to it were a turbo back exhaust and potentially that BC. Everything was put back to stock (exhaust, intake etc) when the guy sold it to the dealer. I haven't spoken to him so I don't know what he did exactly. Is there anything I can check, say, to determine whether it IS a BC and confirm that it is not hooked up?
