Question 2004 Stock Turbo Max Boost?

Anyone know what the stock turbo in a 2004 WRX holds for max psi?

Thanks

The stock turbo is only efficient up to about 18psi I think? anything higher then that and the seals will go pretty quickly.

I ran about 20K miles at 15-16psi, and another 32K+ miles at 18psi and my turbo is now leaking oil from the inner seals. I am actually replacing it this weekend.

I've seen one at 20psi, but that is way beyond the efficient range of our small turbos.

wrong.... I generally tune the stocker at 18.5psi, a couple I have tuned at ~20psi(only w/ aftermarket TMIC).

if you can read a compressor map you'll see that the turbo is efficient well over 2.5 Bar(Absolute) = 1.5Bar(Gauge) = 21psi(gauge).
