2.2 liter stroker kit (cosworth)
Anybody know of anyone running a 2.2 liter stroker kit on a wrx. if so what kind of gains would you typically see. of course you would use 2 liter heads which would increase compression. ive just never heard of anyone running cosworth stroker kits on an ej20. i have heard of them in sti's however. would someone please take the time to enlighten me.

wassup man. you have an insteresting point, I've had the same thoughts years ago wondering how come there not advertising wrx performance higher than sti performance. inevitable i've always checked youtube/redline/other racing sites to find a 2.2 build up. here's my personal opinion; i see more sti block swaps than i do 2.2 build ups. i would think based on the subaru factory build, the 2.2 would blow/sweep/smoke/whateveryoucallit a sti block swap (built/or not built) any day.
small details why i back this up, based on my wrx build and the 5spd gearbox; not tryna sound like a hard **** but i've eatin up alot of upgraded turbo sti's and yet i wonder why. even if there not half the driver i am, i shock myself. these are my thoughts from a wrx (underdog) build up.
