~8 PSI of boost only?

I have a problem. I recently picked up a defi boost gauge and AP 2.0 and went to install it. I never had a boost gauge before so I installed it, it was reading around 8 PSI max and stuck there through out all gears at WOT.

I had an AEM intake so i did take it off and put a stock one back on, did a reflash to stage 1 and same issue. I also read it off AP readings and it was maxing out at around 7.92 psi. I'm not sure whats wrong exactly. Before this I did take it to the track a few times with times of 14.6-14.8. Just reflashed so wonder if i should wait for it to learn, but not sure if thats the case

let me know what you guys think, now i wonder if i was always at 8psi since i bought the car almost 2 years ago, never had a boost gauge to check until now.

car came with aem cai and uppipe. i added hki hi power and put a stock intake box back on.

Check the vaccume lines to the boost gauge and on. There might be a leak. Take off the clamps or whatever you used for the hoses and zip tie it just to check out if it's the problem. Most likely a boost leak.

checked all lines everything seems fine. i adjusted the wastegate a little bit and it went up to 10 psi. afterward i adjusted it again and was hitting almost 15psi and decided to stop there. But after a few runs now its back down to ~12-13psi max.

RESTRICTOR PILL MISSING!!!

Fixed the problem, then adjusted the wastegate since it was boosting too high.
