What to do with 200 dollars?

so, how much would a new up pipe do?
im sorta lookin towards engine stuff to up the HP, rather than spend ti on body kits, i'd rather have a fast car than a car that looks fast (though it already is)
so ya basically i'd rather get stuff for the engine, rather than side markers and fog covers
any input is appreciated
p.s. what companies would get your recommendations, i hear K&N is a no-no

for $200, i would do an uppipe. turbo xs, hks, and gruppe-s all have uppipes from $129-200.

i hear K&N is a no-no

The reason that people are saying "no" to K&N is that if you oil the filter a little too much, the excess oil can coat the MAF and jack up its readings. Ask Shiv about this, because I think he's at least posted once about it, but I could be wrong.

just for the sake of argument. for $200, the uppipe is one of the cheapest and safest performance mods for a wrx...no?

if it was me i would do the uppipe and save my money for a better boost controller (automatic). of course you don't have to take my word for it, just go ask wrx2fast4you, or whatever his name is.

For $200 you can get a used computer...

Plug it into the internet...

and then do some searching, because this topic has been covered a million times.
