Troubleshooting a dead battery problem...
Recently I have been coming out to start the car in the morning, only to find I have a dead bettery. Same thing in the afternoon when I go home from work. Something is drawing power which kills the battery over a span of 8 hours. I have checked everything from my stereo and amp, all my gauge wiring, the wires under the hood, fuses... everything. This morning, I checked everything again, but this time, it was quiet enough so I could hear a small whining sound coming from a box on the intake manifold. I am pretty sure this is the problem since it sounds like the box is on, but the car is off and key is removed. Its a white box with a 3 wire connector and A B C on the top of it.
If anybody knows what this thing is or does, please let me know and Ill be closer to solving this problem. Thanks!

Yeah, the battery was charging fine. I finally broke down and took the car to a dealer to run some diagnostics. Like I already knew, the computer said the entire fuel system was still hot with the car turned off. Turns out, my Greddy turbo timer that went crazy on me a few weeks prior (it was turning the car on in the middle of the night, repeatedly) caused the ignition relay to heat up and melt. All this BS caused by a $10 part. Go figure.
