Car Info: '02 WRX Wagon and a '04 Miata
Cobb tuning sells the stock ECU for $495.
http://www.cobbtuning.com/wrx/accessecu-faq.html -> "We can also sell brand new ECUs for $495 (not including the AccessECU reflash). This way you have no downtime and always have a spare ECU. "

I would guess that you can also find it from other tuning companies as well...

as far as stock goes, F--- Subaru, and F--- Cobb JUNKYARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! call around ur local junkyards, u can prolly get one for like 150-250 hope i helped!
