stand alone engine managment for N/A engine?
I drive a 98 RS, and NO ONE makes an intake for my car. So I am forced to fabricate my own. Therefore I will need some type of MAF/computer upgrade. I have thought about getting a apexi SAFC. but I Figure if im gona spend the money on a piggyback computer to monitor my custom intake (ram air straight under the hoodscoop) that I might as well get something that I can fiddle with other engine specs(RPM , redline, etc)
anyone know if getting a SAEM would be worth it for a 98 RS, being naturaly aspired? and if ANYONE makes one? and maybee even an intake ? =)

I Bought it little more then 2 years ago with 28,000 mi. Now i got 42,000.
so with the adition of a cold air intake, the computer will try to advance timing?why? does the MAF sensor incorectly measure the airflow coming into the engine due to the change in incoming air temperaturre? I know that the MAF sensor is a wire that is heated to a certain temperature. And it measures the incoming air flow by how much it is cooled off. So colder air would cool it off more correct? and the apexi SAFC fixes this how? =)
