Skid plate for HKS Carb-Ti Exhaust
Ok i wanted to order a HKS Carb-TI EXhaust off of revhighonline.com and the note mentioned can be used if vehicle has a skid plate....What the HELL is a damn skid plate help would be nice....

The differential protector is on the rear differential. I see that you're new here, To make sure you get the best responses and to keep the older members off of you, post your thread in the appropiate forum, this thread has nothing to do with engine management. Just giving you some pointers.

look under your car in the rear and if you can see your rear differential, you dont have one. the differential protector is an option and doesnt come standard in the wrx as far as i know. another way to find out if you have one or not is to look at your window sticker under the options you have. if you have one, it should say so unless the dealer put one on between them receiving the car and then selling it to you. which i dont see why they would. i have yet to hear of an exhaust that can work with the diff protector. if you have one, unbolt it and sell it to someone who is looking for one.
