PPP 3 map vs. odd stock ECU??
I recently installed a prodrive stage 3 kit on my '03 WRX and when the car went on the dyno the results were very odd. The highest run was 202hp at the wheels on a dynapack5000(i think thats the model??) and all the pulls were very inconsistent.
Same car with an custom ecutec map made ~223 and feels even stonger now (ecu learning?), so my car is definately healthy. Prodrive is still working with me on this but it seems my car is an oddball and doesnt like the PPP map for some reason.
Ive never heard of any problems like this on other PPP equiped cars and I figure with their claim of 227 whp on 91 octane I should be able to get about 235 on 93 octane once this is resolved.
Has anyone else has a similair problem with a PPP?
If not, tell me your results if anyone has a PPP3 on their car.
All work was done at Mastro Subaru in FL. Both Mastro and Prodrive seem to be doing everything possible to help me on this.
