www.osecuroms.org , you've got to register.

I don't mind suppling a few base maps if needed.

I kept waiting for somebody to mention this , but nobody seems to have. On this site on the home page right hand side you'll see a small box with the heading" ECU flashing for dummies". It's a link from the (I think it's called) 'subytech' site that the I-club merged with. It could answer all your questions.

ok. in that case ill just throw it out there. i've already found a local that will let me borrow the cable. my laptop is on its way. now for the million dollar question:

can you supply, or point me in the direction of (links and such) where i could find a map for - 07 WRX vf34/sti tmic/tbe.........ive been lurking around different forums (including enginuity and osecuroms) and have yet to seen anyone mention this setup for this year. that would be great...ultimately i want to find a opensource dynotuner or at least a knowledgeable street tuner in the area (or at least within 100 miles of sacramento, ca) to make me a good solid tune, but for now would appreciate any pointers in the right direction that i can get.

If you have your setup already installed I can get you a basemap & if you get familar enough w/ the software I can assist in getting your tune worked out.

took a few weeks, but after trying two different laptops and two different OBD-II cables I finally got logging to work.

My old PC laptop was too crapped out to work for logging so I had to install bootcamp and windows on my mac but then the Cobb APv2 cable didn't work but I finally got the Tactrix cable with enginuity to work

^ it should be fine.

I think enginuity has the specs needed to run it on their site.
