dont waste your time/money on a boost controller....esp. if your car is totally stock. You'd be better off spending the extra money and getting a ECUTEK reflash/tune. The stock ECU is good for controlling boost up to about 20-21psi. But on a stock car, I wouldnt boost past 17.5-18psi max. With a reflash/tune ALONE....with NO OTHER MODS, you should yield about 30-45whp (depending on how "safe" of a tune you want. A radical tune will give you more HP, but could also make you run too lean, a good "safe" tune will be VERY streetable, and will give you a big smile, for quite awhile.)

You could add a lot of horsepower if your an idiot. The question is, how long will you keep it? A boost controller is a great way to blow a perfectly good engine up. Good luck.

If you cabnbe modest then an electronic BC is a great deal. A reflash is nice but you cannot up or lower the boost if you want to in many different settings. I have an Apexi AVC-R and I love it. I can control all aspects of boost and keep mine running a safe 16.5 psi, below fuel cut-off. From that I prob. see about 20-25 hp gain.
