Has anyone switched from Vishnu's Ekutek to their Xede?

I've got an Ecutek AND a XEDE. However, I just got it installed so the XEDE is still zeroed out. I noticed that I'm running leaner that I probably should be. So, I'll be using the XEDE to fix that.
Also, the 91 octane is really bad and currently I'm testing the DeltaDash's ability to retard timing by 5 degree for bad gas. If this is able to prevent all the pinging I'm getting, then I'll probably reset it back to 0 and use the XEDE to retard timing in the areas where I'm having knock.
Personally, I think it is better to keep the Ecutek and use the XEDE to minor adjustments. On the otherhand, the cost is alot more...

Do you have any friends with a similarly modded WRX that has a stock ECU? The install is simple and under 15 minutes. You could install it on another car just to see the difference between the Ecutek and the Xede. I already have the Xede, but am curious.
