My boost gauge sais that boost starts comming in at 2000rpm, but doesn't get anywere before 3000 and I can get 15psi only at redline.
VF35 is ballbearing, it's the same as VF34 only with smaller compressor wheel as far as I know. It will not spool up faster than TD04 for the reson being tht TD04 is smallest of the bunch, smaller turbo=faster spool and lots of people saying that P&P helps it to spool faster.
But, porting turbo only brings minimal gains, no doubts. Exhaust ports and manifold has to be ported as well as intake runners and intercooler inlets+ throttle body. All that supposedly brings spool up down another 500RPM. Well it's a 2.0L with 8:1 compression. Low end is going to suck no matter what.
I have gutted uppipe sitting in a garage for about a month now. Need to meditate for a while before I insall it. It's just too much work....
