ECU Reset?

Question ECU Reset?

Can anyone tell me how to reset the ECU on my 2002 WRX?

I think all you have to do is disconnect the negative side of your battery and press the brake pedal to drain the extra power left in there and reconnect the battery.

Really? I read something about connecting some black wire to a black wire and green to green. Then driving around and reconnecting the wires....

just disconnect your battery, ground side, and let it sit for about 30-45 minutes. Then reconnect, start it up and your good to go.

Nah...my friend is gonna get me a Blitz SUS power intake (short ram) and I think imma install it soon. I heard that installing intakes require me to reset my ecu. That's why I asked. =P

O btw...so after I install the intake all I do is reset the ECU and I'm set right? I jsut wanted to make sure. =P Don't wanna mess up my lil buggy eyes....

yup install it, and just reset it.
i've got to reset mines again. my mileage suddenly dropped dramatically.
