Looks like its an STI without the engine management. Perhaps you can try using a vf34 and a utec map for an sti to get it to 300hp.

when i went to our training seminar
on the 05 legacies- i learned that the intake is different(for less noise)
due to the success of the car in japan- its only a matter of time...

Thanks for the replys. It's hard to be patient for sure. Anyway it is as I figured. Just too new. I still enjoy the vehicle as it is. Much more than the wrex that I traded in for it. I just didn't like revving the engine so much to get power.
Funny thing is that with both of the subies I feel like the alignment is off. That is it goes pretty straight but the steering wheel is a bit cockeyed. The Legacy is brand new ==1000 mi. - ish. The shop will look at it tomorrow under warranty. Is this a common thing???
