Thanks for the Install, good clutch
that would be me you sold it to, Martin! had no idea there was a sale going on, probably would have gotten a better price if i had logged on and saw this thread?????!!!!!!!!! LOL
i just wanted a new clutch that badly, that stock one was going to hell every second i drove it! would have probably lasted me a little longer, but i was getting bored driving slow!
anyway, im impressed with the clutch. extremely responsive, but i dunno if that's because it's a new clutch, better than stock, or both haha. I'm only driving it no more than 4k rpms, but so far it seems like it's a badass clutch. Thanks for the recommendation Greg! Dude i couldnt pull out from 1st gear because it turned off on me twice lol! got the hang of it though, just need to put some pressure and weight onto the clutch pedal when you're releasing. Can't wait til my 500 mile break in is over!!! I wanna see the results at higher revs.
Now maybe I can help out Greg here a bit. Just gonna give you guys my experience. Been driving my 06 STi Stage 2 All Cobb Catted with a stock clutch for over a year. Drove decent a year ago, but stock clutch just wasn't cutting it. Besides, my stock clutch was slipping to hell at this point! Any of you who are thinking about doing the transition from stock to something with a little more kick, this is a good buy! If you guys want, I can post results after i break it in properly.
Only takes GST a few hours to a full day to install, you'll have your car back the same day for the most part. Just go kick it at the pool hall like I did in milpitas til it's done! BTW Greg, I'm sorry I was a little drunk when I picked up my keys, the main reason why I had to go eat and chill for a bit before I drove it off GST's lot. You guys were still working on stuff even that late! And what's up with that GST Scion you guys pulled out? That thing looks and sounds like a BEAST!!!
Anyway, Thanks Greg and Thank You GST, you guys have a new customer...
now about that tune, would definitely like to hear some parts recommendations and pricing before a tune. Hook it up Breh! PM me
