wrx vs rx8
couple of days ago, i was with my friends. on the way to metro at maryland. when we are on 95 high way. there was a rx8 going purty fast. so i joined him. then he slow down to 60mph. and i hunked my horn 3 times. after the 3rd honk race start. i didn't have a good lunck at the start so he starts to pull away. then i pulled up to him around 80mph, and start to walk on him. i was suprise that rx8 couldn't ketch up to me after that.

FYI, since you are new here, street racing posts are generally not encouraged here.
Plus, there is no real way to know that you won. Maybe he backed off after ya'll hit 80. Maybe he never was at WOT. Maybe you did win; the official HP ratings on the RX-8 seem to be dropping every few months, so who knows.

why is everyone hatin on the street racers. as for the RX8 yeah they are slow and a bunch of them have got recalled cuz the engine wasn't producing as much horse as they claimed. good job. I smoked a Cobra mustang when all I had done to my car was a external stock BOV. All driver baby. keep on racin.

They may not be as fast as the WRX but they do seem to handle pretty well for a rwd car. I saw a show on Speed just the other day and they had it going on the track and it did pretty well. The only real bad thing was the stock tires. But the handling seemed pretty nice and balanced.

What exactly is an external stock BOV? are you refering to an atomospheric BOV?

i digress eternal-e is being a tool.... you've been watching to much f2tf havnt you? seriously take it to the track, youjust wait, till something happens, im sure youll realize why many people look down on street racing....
as for the external bov....nice, you do know it recirculates for a reason rite? and a final note, your really good at driving straight lines, how much do you fair when there are hairpin turns thrown into the mix? why not try auto-x? im sure youll enjoy it more so then just racing in the streets....
just ranting....
