Just to straighten things up a little , My friend Has a VW GTI VR6, I dont know the answer to this so I'm just guessing, It seems to me that a GTI would not weigh any more than a Jetta GLI VR6. I have raced him over and over, it just doesn't keep up, plain and simple. So to call BS on someone or call them a liar is just narrow-minded. I've raced a 350Z a few times and like I said before it is the skill of the driver that sometimes makes the difference. I'm not a fanatic in thinking my car is the king of the road. Best bang and overall package for the buck is the car I drive. To think of the reason I bought the car is for drag racing rights is totally insane. So next time when you think your opinion is validated through some website, spare the condescending words for your kids. The rest of us are a little smarter than you think.
