Vishnu's numbers are accurate, but if they're the best for what you pay for has yet to be seen.

This illustrates the difference between high peak power output and having a nice fat torque curve. By using a larger turbo than the VF30 for our stage II cars, which would cost the same, we could make a little higher peak power, but the car would actually be slower due to having a higher boost threshold, more lag, more octane handicap. The VF30 is the fastest turbo on a street driven pump gas car with a stock internal motor when properly tuned.

Dont forget that the STi is a complete package. Acceleration is only one part of the equation. remember braking and suspension are also important.

If speed kills, then brakes must give life; as the old adage goes.

A Vishnu stage I car performs very similarly to an STi power and acceleration wise, but brakes and handling are seriously lacking without more mods. Also, dollar for dollar, the STi responds just as well if not better than the EJ20 when it comes to power.

I would say no. Others will say yes.

bottom line is you're going to have to choose by yourself.
