****ing Alignment! (Warning: RANT!)
[rant]
When I had my accident, I had the shop put on the new wheels and tires and they had a shop align it all. Everything was good, drove well and everything so I never bothered to pay any attention to the alignment.
Now, 4600 miles later, my brand new (6 months ago) Potenza S-03's are worn to **** in the front. Outside of them is worn down to where they need to be replaced, the inside is ok, but the rears are perfect. It must have too much positive camber.
I brought it back to the shop, they agreed that they are worn to **** and it shouldnt be like that so they started giving me excuses why it isn't their fault (err, the fault of the place it was aligned... not the shop that installed everything; they brought it somewhere for the alignment).
First, they said it's a lowered car so it took them forever to do the alignment and that most places would refuse to align a lowered car. (basically saying its not their fault because the car is lowered)
Third, they blamed it on me hitting something and throwing the camber off. (nope, didn't happen... unless it was a speed bump that I rolled over slowly)
Fourth, they started to say I was driving too fast and taking turns too fast so that was wearing them down. (uhhh, no? never slide and I don't even drive it too aggressively more than once a week)
Also, keep in mind that about 1/2 of those miles are freeway miles.
****ing bull****... or am I dumb and missing something?
Is it possible for it to be anything other than the alignment?
Oh yeah, pics:

bring it to an alignment shop and get your current settings checked.
do you have any adjustable links that might be loose?

Here are the numbers on the sheet showing what it was adjusted to that they gave me when I went in to complain today:
Front Left
Camber: -0.2
Caster: 2.9
Toe: .05
Front Right
Camber: -.5
Caster: 3.0
Toe: .04
Edit: Before and After numbers were pretty much the same except for the toe (was .45 before alignment).
Also is noted that the camber is maxed out and it can't be adjusted anymore.... wtf?
